These brushes are really beautiful! I almost didn’t want to use them and mess them up!! This is a set of 10 nylon bristled brushes with painted birch handles. The copper ferrules are tight and hold the bristles really well. When I tug on the bristles none of them come out. They lay down paint nicely, and even when I do a bit of scrubbing the bristles do not come out. Also, I’m really impressed with the well distributed weight of the handles. They are packaged very professionally! Great value for the money!

These brushes are absolutely beautiful. The box they arrived in was of surprisingly good quality as well, which for me means it'll be saved to use again in the future for something else lol.The matt charcoal/black handles with the red-dipped tips along with the red tipped brush heads make these sleek, handsome, and modern-looking (yes I just called a paintbrush handsome). Even the ferrule is a matt metal as well. It's obvious that some thought went into designing these brushes.The brush heads appear to be of excellent quality. No breakage or stray fibers to be seen. No filaments could be loosened or plucked, even with a good amount of tugging-- they are soundly secured in their ferrule. They are sturdy without being too rigid, they are soft without being sparse and uncontrollable. These are a nice choice for detailed or precise work as the filaments have an harmonious spread when pressure is applied to follow a curve.The brush heads are saturated with a light glue or starch of sorts to help the brushes keep their shape during shipping, but this easily dissipates with a gentle brush of the finger. The smaller brushes arrive with plastic sleeves over the tips to insure that any accidental movement within the box won't deform them. They are strapped into the box with elastic cords to keep them in place, thereby preventing them from rubbing or damaging each other during shipping. It is obvious that great care was again taken when developing the packaging for these brushes.There is a practical variety of brush types to choose from making these excellent for any beginner, yet these seem a superb option for a professional as well. I have no complaints.
